About Us
A message from the Head Teacher:
"Windlesham Village Infant School is a small, friendly, nurturing environment with highly experienced and committed staff. Our children learn through first-hand experiences that are engaging and fun. Our curriculum offer is varied and exciting for all our children, including disadvantaged pupils and pupils with SEND. We work hard at Windlesham to adapt the curriculum and teaching methods to suit how the children learn best.
We benefit from having a large library area and additional spaces where children can engage in small group work and activities such as Music and Art. We also have Windlesham Woods, a nature area where children from across the whole school can take part in Forest School sessions, exploring their surroundings and learning about plants and mini-beasts.
We believe strongly in building warm and collaborative relationships with our children and families, knowing that this is the foundation of a positive school experience. We nurture the pupils so that they continue to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment."
