Admissions
Children enter the Reception Class aged between four and five. Admission is without reference to ability or aptitude and is on the basis of equal opportunities.
Windlesham Village Infant School is part of The Alliance Multi-Academy Trust (TAMAT) and is an 'own admission authority' school. However, we remain part of the central admissions system operated by Surrey County Council.
Windlesham Village Infant School has a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 30 for each year group from Reception through to Year 2.

If your child is due to start school in Reception September 2026, we would be delighted to welcome you to look around our school this autumn.
Tours will be hosted by our Executive Headteacher, Siobhan McGann and last approximately one hour.

If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, you will need to apply for a school place in Reception for September 2026. You can apply for a place from 3 November 2025. The closing date for on-time applications is 15 January 2026. Applications are made online via the Surrey County Council website: https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools/admissions/primary-junior-and-infant/apply
In-year applications
An in-year application is any application for a school place which falls out of the admissions cycle for our Yr R intake in September each year. We have a Published Admissions Number of 30 for each year group.
For 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026, parents who wish to apply for an in-year place for their child should refer to the Surrey County Council In-Year Admissions Page.
Parents/carers will need to complete form CMA which is available using this link below.
This information will be updated by 31 August each year for the following school year, so for admission in 2024/25, this information must be published by 31 August 2024.
