Admissions
Background
Following our recent consultation, Windlesham Village Infant School has a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 30 for September 2021. We are looking to make this reduction permanent from 2022 and will launch a Public Consultation on 1st December.

Children enter the Reception Class aged between four and five. Admission is without reference to ability or aptitude and is on the basis of equal opportunities.
Please note that on April 1st 2018 Windlesham Village Infant School converted to Academy Status as part of The Alliance Multi-Academy Trust (TAMAT) and is an 'own admission authority' school. However, we have remained part of the central admissions system operated by Surrey County Council.
School Places For September 2021
If your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017, you will need to apply for a school place in Reception for September 2021. You can apply for a place from 2nd November 2020. The closing date for on-time applications is 15 January 2021. Applications are made online via the Surrey County Council website: https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools/admissions/primary-junior-and-infant/apply
School Tours/Open Evenings
Choosing the first school for your child is an important decision. During the pandemic, with restrictions in place, all schools are doing what they can to engage with prospective parents, whilst observing COVID-19 protocols. Having carried out a risk assessment, we feel able to offer a range of opportunities for you to find out more about our school. In the first instance, our head teacher Mrs Ezzard has made a presentation for you to watch, which will explain about the context of our school, our vision for the education of our pupils and what we stand for.
A virtual tour of the school is available here. For many of you, online tours and presentations will help you to make your decision as to which schools to apply to.
Safeguarding our school community during the pandemic is something we take very seriously, which means we can only offer tours for prospective parents once the school day has finished. These are limited to 5 adults to a tour, ideally only one person from each household, so as to meet demand; we ask that children do not attend the tour, as this could compromise our COVID-19 protocols. This visit would be a limited tour of some of our site and the opportunity to ask questions to the Headteacher. We request that you pre-book your tour place and be willing to leave contact details. We ask that visitors wear a face covering for the duration of the tour. Visitors must not attend if they, or someone in their household, are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Tours will last 30 minutes. Tours may be cancelled if government guidance/restrictions change.
