Windlesham Village Infant School has space for 180 children on roll. It has a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 60. There is a Public Consultation to reduce the PAN to 30 for September 2021.
Children enter the Reception Class aged between four and five. Admission is without reference to ability or aptitude and is on the basis of equal opportunities.
Please note that on April 1st 2018 Windlesham Village Infant School converted to Academy Status as part of The Alliance Multi-Academy Trust (TAMAT) and is an 'own admission authority' school. However, we have remained part of the central admissions system operated by Surrey County Council.

School Tours/Open Evenings
Choosing the first school for your child is an important decision. During the pandemic, with restrictions in place, all schools are doing what they can to engage with prospective parents, whilst observing COVID-19 protocols. Having carried out a risk assessment, we feel able to offer a range of opportunities for you to find out more about our school. In the first instance, our head teacher Mrs Ezzard has made a presentation for you to watch, which will explain about the context of our school, our vision for the education of our pupils and what we stand for.
A virtual tour of the school will be available soon, via our website . For many of you, online tours and presentations will help you to make your decision as to which schools to apply to.
Safeguarding our school community during the pandemic is something we take very seriously, which means we can only offer tours for prospective parents once the school day has finished. These are limited to 5 adults to a tour, ideally only one person from each household, so as to meet demand; we ask that children do not attend the tour, as this could compromise our COVID-19 protocols. This visit would be a limited tour of some of our site and the opportunity to ask questions to the Headteacher. We request that you pre-book your tour place and be willing to leave contact details. We ask that visitors wear a face covering for the duration of the tour. Visitors must not attend if they, or someone in their household, are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Tours will last 30 minutes. Tours may be cancelled if government guidance/restrictions change.

Applications for places
Parents wishing to apply for an in-year place for their child should refer to the Surrey County Council in-year admissions page.
Useful information about getting Ready for School can be found on the Surrey website via this link.
Where there are more applicants than places available, waiting lists will operate for each year group according to the oversubscription criteria for the school without regard to the date the application was received or when a child’s name was added to the waiting list.
Surrey County Council Admissions Department manages the School's waiting list.
